The Realtors® Association of the Palm Beaches Governmental Affairs team is dedicated to protecting your profession and business. We utilize several different committees and coalitions and two full time professional staff to effectively and efficiently achieve this goal. Our robust government affairs program also includes:
Monitoring 38 Municipalities, Palm Beach County and the School Board An active Government Affairs Committee History of setting record RPAC fundraising goals A Key Contact program at the state and national level Political Candidate Screening REALTOR® voter registration drives Call-to-action website for local, state and national issues
RAPB’s Governmental Affairs Team lobbies legislators and regulators to help pass laws that maintain a healthy business environment for our members and for their clients, and work to defeat laws that increase the cost of housing and inhibit the growth of the real estate industry. RAPB knows that you work hard every day to achieve success. The real estate industry faces constant legislative and regulatory proposals that can negatively impact your success by raising the cost of doing business or adding barriers to property ownership and real estate transactions. REALTOR® representation in government is critical to creating and maintaining the most positive environment for our industry. When informed REALTORS® speak their minds, lawmakers listen.
